The automotive industry has long been a key industry, but in recent years, the country has been undergoing a structural shift to high-value-added fields such as biotechnology, medicine, and digital technology. Chulalongkorn University, Mahidol University, and Kasetsart University are internationally recognized for their excellence in medicine, agriculture, and life sciences, and are active in joint research with industry. As a key location in the Mekong Economic Zone, the region occupies an important position as a starting point for technological and business development in neighboring countries.

超異分野学会は、研究者、大企業、町工場、ベンチャーといった分野や業種の違いにとらわれずに、議論を通じて互いの持っている知識や技術を融合させ、人類が向き合うべき新たな研究テーマや課題を捉え、共に研究を推進するための場です。超異分野学会タイ大会を、2027年1月23日（土）に開催します。
