The strategy in Europe is to link Japan's deep tech with cutting-edge technologies emerging in Europe to accelerate demonstrations of solutions to global challenges and to participate in global rulemaking. Europe is a huge technology cluster with annual R&D spending of approximately 350 billion euros.

Our strategy in the Pacific Rim is to work with key countries and regions in democratic and liberal economies to enhance the value of advanced technologies and secure supply chains and markets from a technological and economic security perspective.
