Switzerland
Switzerland has one of the world’s highest per capita R&D spending, and its GDP ratio of R&D investment is also at a high level of about 3.4%. Switzerland excels in fields such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and precision machinery, and research institutions such as the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich are highly regarded worldwide. Many international organizations, such as the United Nations European Headquarters, have gathered in the country, and a global platform for technological demonstration has been established that leverages its neutral status. Moreover, there is an extremely high awareness of intellectual property protection, creating an environment suitable for the safe development and deployment of deep tech. Through this technological demonstration in the country, Liberis will promote the international standardization of Japanese deep tech.

TECH PLANTER is a deep tech venture ecosystem that solves unsolved "deep issues" with "deep tech", a collection of science and technology. TECH PLANTER WORLD in UK is held to connect the ecosystem in the UK and Europe with startups in Japan and Southeast Asia to promote market development, technology collaboration, and joint business. The next event will be held on November 7, 2026.
