Theme] Deep Tech Ecosystem Captured by Manufacturing

Malaysia's deep tech is characterized by the support of the government, research institutes, and companies, as well as a "manufacturing environment" that facilitates prototyping and mass production, making it easy to implement in society. In this tour, we will visit "manufacturing sites" from the different perspectives of venture companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and large corporate R&D to gain first-hand information on how to make decisions on technology development, how to proceed with prototyping and verification, and how the supply chain is organized. We design collaboration scenarios for Japanese companies to step into co-creation.

[Theme] Convergence of knowledge and technology in the nearest global hub

Singapore, which will celebrate the 60th anniversary of its friendship with Japan in 2026, has joined the ranks of developed countries in just 60 years since its founding. The small country has one of the world's leading hub airports, and with world-class universities and research institutions, it has become a center of knowledge, global challenges, and human resources. Once again, we are exploring ways to create new knowledge by integrating Japanese technology with global speed and challenges.

In Vietnam, the Mekong Delta region, known as the "Rice Bin of Asia," is blessed with abundant water and a natural environment that provides an abundance of foods such as rice, noodles, meat, seafood, and various vegetables. On the other hand, due to its steep environment, there are many issues related to flood control and drainage, including flooding, water pollution, aquaculture sludge, and salt damage. We will discuss how to use deep tech to solve Vietnam's food processing and water issues while delivering abundant resources to the world.
