Kick-off workshop

For each participating company, I will propose multiple Southeast Asian startups that could potentially collaborate with them.

Verbalize your company's philosophy and strengths to deepen your understanding of Southeast Asian challenges.

Based on the proposed collaboration plans (submission of post-event assignments) from each company, the secretariat will narrow down the candidate companies to about six for the presentation screening.

On-site visit

Overseas startup partnerWaitexplore and actually visit, and hold discussions for the launch of a collaborative demonstration project. We will also conduct an exploration and interviews with necessary local related organizations.

Empirical design

After arriving in the country, the partner overseas startupWaitWe will continue our discussions and negotiations. We will solidify the structure, schedule, and actions for collaborative demonstration projects such as POCs and joint development. The final design specification document you submit can be utilized for internal decision-making and external grant applications even after the project period.

Nami Akinaga

Strategy Development Division. Completed Master's degree at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo. Master of Sustainability Science. Leveraging experience in an interdisciplinary program with a focus on international students for his master's studies, he is involved in numerous new business initiatives in Japan and Southeast Asia at our company. He has 13 years of experience in establishing and managing local subsidiaries (as a board director), providing management support, expanding a startup support program to six Southeast Asian countries, and supporting the overseas expansion of domestic regional companies and startups. He also facilitates investment and partnership with startups in Southeast Asia and supports their expansion into Japan. His SBL theme is "Maximizing the Value of Diversity."
