RIVANES Corporation has been commissioned by Ibaraki Prefecture to conduct the "Business Matching and Invitation Project with Promising Foreign Companies in Ibaraki in FY2024" and will implement the "Co-Creation Promotion Program with Foreign Companies" for companies in Ibaraki Prefecture.

The purpose of this program is to create hypothetical partnerships between companies in Ibaraki Prefecture interested in overseas expansion and overseas companies, mainly in Southeast Asia and Europe, and to link them to new businesses that utilize the products and services of companies in the prefecture.

In this program, RIVANES communicators, who have experience in establishing businesses aimed at solving local issues through accompanying more than 1,300 venture companies and research teams mainly in Southeast Asia, will introduce several overseas companies suitable for expanding the scope of their businesses based on the strengths and needs of the companies in Ibaraki Prefecture. Co-Creation Promotion Program with Overseas Companies Workshop
Communicators from LIVERNESS, who have created many examples of partnerships with overseas companies, will lead a workshop to create a hypothesis for a business model. In the workshop, participants will first uncover strengths and assets that are difficult to recognize in their own companies, then learn about overseas issues, particularly in Southeast Asia, and create a hypothesis for a new business model based on a combination of those strengths and assets.

This workshop is part of a series of workshops that are often used by companies as consultation for overseas expansion and as internal human resource development programs, and will actually be conducted for companies within the prefecture.

■Future steps of this program ■
For those companies in the prefecture that have been able to identify some hypothesis for collaboration with overseas companies through the workshop, RIVANES communicators will accompany them until March 2025, introducing up to five overseas companies for every one company in the prefecture. During this period, the communicators will set up meetings with overseas companies and begin concrete discussions with the aim of creating new businesses.
In addition, companies that wish to do so can participate in events in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines) in November to conduct face-to-face business meetings with overseas companies and to explore a wider range of potential partners. In addition, in February, overseas companies can be invited to the prefecture to visit and conduct further business negotiations.
The basic language used with overseas companies is English, but our communicators will provide appropriate support.
This program is part of the "FY2024 Business Matching and Invitation Program for Promising Foreign Companies, etc.," and there is basically no participation fee for companies from within the prefecture (excluding overseas travel expenses).
