Seminar for Startups] Southeast Asia Business Strategy Seminar

LIVERNESS Corporation is promoting efforts to solve social issues in the ASEAN region with Japanese deep-tech solutions.

In order to encourage a wide range of Japanese start-ups to expand their business to ASEAN, we will hold a seminar, "Southeast Asia Business Strategy Seminar," on Monday, August 5, from 19:00-20:00. Venture companies interested in expanding overseas, especially to ASEAN, are welcome to attend.

This seminar will introduce important points that venture companies, mainly in the deep tech area, should be aware of when implementing overseas expansion.Should we go overseas only after we are profitable in Japan, when should we implement POC and PMF overseas? Is there an effective way to use exhibitions, trading companies, and consulting firms overseas? and various other topics will be discussed.

Toshihiro Ishizawa

Toshihiro Ishizawa Director, Human Resource Development Division / People Making Research Center (Concurrent) Management Planning Office Graduated from the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo in 2007 with a Ph.D. in Life Sciences. Gained approximately three years of internship experience during his doctoral studies and joined Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. in 2008. After serving as Director of the Osaka Office, General Manager of the Regional Development Division, and General Manager of the Strategy Development Division, he became Director of the People Making Research Center in May 2026. He is involved in building regional ecosystems to create R&D-originated ventures that take flight from research institutions to the world using the Tech Planners concept, and in supporting new business creation for core regional companies.
