Selected for the "Project to Promote Collaboration between Japanese Startups and ASEAN Companies" (2024): Startups aiming to expand into ASEAN are invited to apply!

LEVANES Corporation has been selected by the ASEAN-Japan Economic and Industrial Cooperation Committee (AMEICC) for the "Project to Promote Overseas Expansion of Japanese Startups through Collaboration with ASEAN Companies*" and will implement a program to support Japanese startups in their efforts to enter the ASEAN market. The program is designed to support Japanese startups in their efforts to expand their business in ASEAN countries. Through this program, we aim to encourage Japanese startups to expand their business in ASEAN and create collaborative projects with local companies to contribute to solving social issues in the region.

This program aims to solve social issues in ASEAN by providing Japanese startups that meet the following criteria with mentoring, assistance in formulating strategies, search for local partners, attend and give advice at interviews and business meetings with local companies, and give advice for pitching events. Toshihiro Ishizawa

Toshihiro Ishizawa Director, Regional Development Division / Office of Strategic Planning Completed a doctoral degree (Doctor of Life Sciences) from the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo in 2007. Gained approximately three years of internship experience during his doctoral studies before joining Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. in 2008. After serving as Director of the Osaka Office, General Manager of the Regional Development Division, and General Manager of the Strategic Development Division, he became Director of the Office of Strategic Planning in July 2025. He is involved in building regional ecosystems to create R&D-based ventures that fly out to the world from research institutions across the country using the Techplaiter concept, and supporting the creation of new businesses for core regional companies.
