Hiroshima Prefecture Overseas Startup and Other Collaboration Demonstration Project Creation Business: Application Guidelines

Hiroshima Prefecture Project for Creating Collaborative Demonstration Projects for Overseas Start-ups, etc.
Recruitment Information

1. Regarding this project

In Hiroshima Prefecture, under the "Industrial Innovation" policy area of the "Peace, Pride, Challenge Hiroshima Vision," as part of the initiative to "Foster New Growth Industries Leveraging Hiroshima's Strengths," we are promoting the "Advancement of Industrial Clusters in the Environment and Energy Fields."

In this project, we will support the creation of new businesses and overseas expansion in the environment and energy fields through collaboration between companies in Hiroshima Prefecture and overseas startups.

Fiscal Year 2026 will focus on six Southeast Asian countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia). By collaborating with overseas startups and other entities addressing local social issues, we aim to create new businesses that would be difficult for a single company to achieve on its own. We will combine their problem-solving capabilities and drive with the technological, manufacturing, and business strengths of companies within the prefecture.

In this project, Leave a Nest will serve as the administrative office, providing support from the construction of collaboration hypotheses with overseas startups to overseas travel and the design of demonstration projects.

2. Program Overview

In this program, through workshops, individual consultations, accompanied support including overseas travel, and results reporting meetings from July 2026 to March 2027, we will design demonstration projects in collaboration with overseas startups and other entities.

Participating companies will materialize the possibility of creating new businesses in overseas markets by taking stock of their own technologies and assets, connecting them with overseas challenges, and building collaboration hypotheses.
