Yokohama City will implement the "YOKOHAMA GO GLOBAL PROJECT 2026 Startup Overseas Expansion Program" targeting startups challenging overseas expansion. This program utilizes the opportunity to exhibit at "Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology (SWITCH)," one of the world's largest innovation events held in Singapore, to foster the creation of connections with overseas companies, investors, research institutions, and support organizations. 株式会社リバネス will operate the program as the secretariat.
This program offers selected startups pre-exhibition orientation, individual mentoring, English pitch training, business meeting arrangements, and travel preparation support. Furthermore, on-site in Singapore, in addition to joint exhibition at SWITCH, we will provide networking with local companies and support organizations, business meeting support, site visit and inspection programs, and support for attending side events. After returning to Japan, we will boost their acquisition of business opportunities in overseas markets through business meeting follow-ups, results reporting sessions, and continuous consultation support for overseas expansion.
This time, we will hold an information session for startups considering applying for the program on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, starting at 4:30 PM at TECH HUB YOKOHAMA. On the day, in addition to a lecture by a senior startup, we will explain the overview of YOKOHAMA GO GLOBAL PROJECT 2026, support details, eligibility requirements, post-selection schedule, and preparation for SWITCH exhibition.

What is NINZIA Co., Ltd.https://ninzia.jp/
株式会社NINZIA is a food tech company that pursues the potential of konjac, a traditional Japanese plant-based food ingredient. We aim to enable everyone to enjoy "eating" and enhance their well-being by transcending "dietary restrictions" such as diabetes, obesity, and allergies.
We are developing “texture engineering technology” that utilizes our proprietary konjac-derived ingredient, “NinjaPaste,” to achieve binding, shaping, and texture creation without relying on sugars, fats, or animal-derived ingredients. Its use is expanding across a wide range of fields, including gluten-free foods, plant-based foods, and emergency food supplies.
From NINZIA, we will hear about the experiences gained through participating in SWITCH and practical knowledge regarding their expansion into Singapore. This will be an opportunity for startups looking to expand overseas to gain concrete insights, such as how to best utilize overseas exhibitions, what kind of encounters and learnings can be obtained locally, and what preparations are necessary for challenging the Singapore market.
What this program aims to achieve
The YOKOHAMA GO GLOBAL PROJECT 2026 comprehensively supports participating companies, not just by exhibiting at overseas trade shows, but also by assisting with hypothesis design before the exhibition, business explanations in English, creating business negotiation opportunities on-site, and follow-up after returning to Japan. Starting from Singapore, we aim to create touchpoints with companies, investors, research institutions, and support organizations in overseas markets, beginning with Asia, to foster the business growth of Yokohama-based startups and develop the startup ecosystem centered around TECH HUB YOKOHAMA.
