Since 2014, Rivanes has been a self-funded project to identify and nurture pre-startup researchers and deep-tech startups who are passionate about solving problems.TECH PLANTERThe company is promoting the "Kickstarter" program. In Japan and six Southeast Asian countries (Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam), we have formed the largest platform in Asia with 1,371 teams registered to participate over the past 10 years. We have been constantly pursuing the issues raised by local deep-tech startups in Southeast Asia, and have a proven track record of working with large Japanese companies, small and medium-sized companies, and local factories to promote business startups that lead to solutions to these issues.
This project is designed to provide Hiroshima Prefecture-based companies that are highly motivated to take on the challenge of overseas expansion with the opportunity to expand their business in existing areas and to develop new business opportunities. The objective is to create businesses in new areas. In order to increase the feasibility of this project, we will focus on Southeast Asia and create opportunities for collaboration with overseas startups, universities, research institutions, and other organizations that are familiar with local social issues. In the first half of the project period, seminars will be planned and implemented to help companies in the prefecture fully understand their own philosophies, technologies, and other assets, and learn about issues in Southeast Asia.
