  • For many years, Leave-a-Nest has focused on the knowledge manufacturing industry, bridging education and research with the industrial world.
  • At this event, Representative Director, President and COO Shuichiro Takahashi and Naomi Akinaga from the Strategy Development Division, who promotes startup growth support, gave a valuable lecture titled "Goals and Examples of Cross-border Regional Revitalization."
  • Visited the student presentation booths and conducted judging. The Grand Prize of Technology was awarded to the project "PaPa Walk (APT Care System)" led by Mr. Liao Zi-Xuan, team leader of Chung Shan Medical University (CSMU).
  • The "PaPa Walk (APT Care System)" project is a smart mobile care system that integrates cloud-based medical records, designed for elderly Parkinson's disease patients. The demand for care tech is expected to rise not only in Taiwan and Japan but also globally. The team's future achievements are anticipated, and they have been awarded a prize of NT$10,000 and invited as poster presenters to HIC Taiwan 2026 (Healthcare Innovation Conference Taiwan 2026).

Nami Akinaga

Strategy Development Division. Completed Master's degree at the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo. Master of Sustainability Science. Leveraging experience in an interdisciplinary program with a focus on international students for his master's studies, he is involved in numerous new business initiatives in Japan and Southeast Asia at our company. He has 13 years of experience in establishing and managing local subsidiaries (as a board director), providing management support, expanding a startup support program to six Southeast Asian countries, and supporting the overseas expansion of domestic regional companies and startups. He also facilitates investment and partnership with startups in Southeast Asia and supports their expansion into Japan. His SBL theme is "Maximizing the Value of Diversity."
