Our short-term overseas study tour program provides an opportunity to "go there first" and "take the first step. We plan and implement "Deep Tech Tour," a business tour that aims to understand local issues and trends and create new businesses by taking a bird's-eye view of deep tech in various countries across fields.

Theme] Understanding Vietnam's Deep Tech Ecosystem

Vietnam has set "Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI)" as the three main drivers of economic growth. Participants will learn about the latest research and technological trends in Vietnamese industry, as well as the challenges facing production sites. By visiting local government agencies, incubators, and universities, and discovering key persons, the participants will be able to create new businesses.

Theme] Understanding Thailand's Deep Tech Ecosystem

In recent years, Thailand has been accelerating its investment in startups under the Thailand 4.0 innovation policy. Accelerator programs and incubators have been established one after another in the private sector, and the venture ecosystem is on the rise. In this program, in addition to visits to government agencies and incubators, participants will attend the TECH VENTURE MEETUP in Thailand, a local event hosted and co-hosted by RIVERNESS.

Theme] Understanding Indonesia's Deep Tech Ecosystem

Indonesia, with the largest population in Southeast Asia and the fourth largest in the world (284 million people), is attracting attention as a future market. At the same time, however, the country faces extraordinary traffic congestion in urban areas, difficulties in relocating the capital, and the urgent need for innovation in primary industries such as agriculture and fisheries, which support the country. In this issue, we explore the country's attractions, focusing on Bandung, a city with a thriving manufacturing and other industries.

Theme] Learning from "Cambridge-London," one of the best start-up cities in Europe

The United Kingdom is currently attracting attention from investors and entrepreneurs around the world as a country with an extremely attractive environment for deep tech startups. In particular, the country has overwhelming strengths in the technology sector, including EV charging technology and semiconductor technology startups based at the University of Cambridge, as well as a region-wide ecosystem that has led to unique growth, such as Founders at the University of Cambridge, an accelerator program run by Cambridge Enterprise. Cambridge Enterprise's accelerator program, Founders at the University of Cambridge, and other community-wide ecosystems have led to its unique growth. The tour will visit Cambridge and London to learn about the formation of the UK's ecosystem, which is said to be the best in Europe, its technology development and investment policies, and the positioning of Japan from a European perspective, and to consider strategies for future expansion into Europe.

In this program, participants will learn about Malaysia's deep tech ecosystem and learn entrepreneurship from local researchers and venture companies.

In this program, participants will visit government-affiliated organizations that are key players in state-led innovation, university research institutes, and venture companies that promote business with companies in other countries.

In this tour, we will visit the field of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, local venture companies that are promoting the introduction of technology to the field, and government officials.
