Our short-term overseas study tour program provides an opportunity to "go there first" and "take the first step. We plan and implement "Deep Tech Tour," a business tour that aims to understand local issues and trends and create new businesses by taking a bird's-eye view of deep tech in Southeast Asian countries across sectors.

The Philippines has made remarkable progress in recent years, but in the areas of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, there are still many processes that rely on human labor, and the introduction of technology has not progressed. On the other hand, there are many opportunities to utilize Japanese technology to solve social issues in the Philippines. In this tour, we will visit the field of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, local venture companies that are promoting the introduction of technology to the field, and government officials.

Singapore has developed promising human resources and research technologies based on advanced education, attracting the attention of capitalists and companies from other countries. Many venture companies are trying to tackle global social issues based on highly accumulated knowledge. In this program, participants will visit government-affiliated organizations that are key players in state-led innovation, university research institutes, and venture companies that promote business with companies in other countries.

Theme] Understanding Deep Tech and Deep Issues

In addition to the Look East Policy, Malaysia aims to create high-income industries in its Industrial Master Plan 2030. The plan includes the development of not only existing industries such as electronics, machinery manufacturing, palm oil, and food, but also new energy and aerospace industries. In this program, participants will learn about Malaysia's deep tech ecosystem and learn entrepreneurship from local researchers and venture companies.

In recent years, Thailand has been accelerating its investment in startups under the Thailand 4.0 innovation policy. Accelerator programs and incubators have been established one after another in the private sector, and the venture ecosystem is on the rise. In this program, in addition to visits to government agencies and incubators, participants will attend the TECH VENTURE MEETUP in Thailand, a local event hosted and co-hosted by RIVERNESS.

Rivanes' Science Bridge Communicators, who are regularly involved in assisting companies and deep tech start-ups, will assist in discussions and negotiations during the visit.
現地で何度も何度もプレゼン
You are required to make a presentation of your proposal at each of the sites you visit. You will communicate your company's strengths and what you want to achieve in Southeast Asia to key local people, creating opportunities for new business creation.
現地の課題、トレンドを知り海外展開の戦略を考える
We will take primary information on local issues as described by government agencies, venture companies, and researchers in the countries we visit, and work together to develop strategies for overseas expansion.
