The signing ceremony was held in Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia.International Digital Economy Conference Sarawak(IDECS) 2024, one of the largest digital innovation events in Borneo, launched in 2017 against the backdrop of Sarawak's commitment to industrial digitization as one of the strategies to revitalize the region's economy, and this year marks its seventh edition.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Scientist & Chief Advisor for Digital Economy to the Government of Sarawak Professor Jugdutt Singh and RIVANES Representative Director Group CEO Yukihiro Maru, Abdul Hakim Sahidi, Managing Director of Riverness Malaysia, and Ir Ts Sudarnoto Osman, CEO of SDEC.

The signing ceremony, which was also attended by YB Dato Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, Minister of Education, Innovation and Human Resource Development (MEITD), Sarawak, as guest of honor, marked an important step forward in promoting digital innovation and human resource development in the state of Sarawak.
