First, Yevgeny Aster T. Dulla, President of Liverness Philippines, took the stage and emphasized the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset in the Asian science and technology ecosystem. He spoke of Kansai as a "testing ground for challenges" that combines diverse cultures and a concentration of manufacturing industries, making it an ideal collaboration hub for Taiwanese startups.
Nami Akinaga (Strategic Development Division) then took the stage and introduced the concept of "knowledge manufacturing" against the backdrop of the changing industrial structure in Japan. Knowledge manufacturing" means creating new knowledge by combining knowledge with knowledge, and solving unsolved problems with new knowledge.
