With an R&D investment-to-GDP ratio of approximately 3.1%, Germany boasts one of the highest in Europe and has a long-standing strong manufacturing base. The national strategy \"Industry 4.0\" has led to the use of digitalization, automation, and cyber-physical systems, and deep tech in the fields of precision machinery, environmental technology, and materials has been particularly well developed. In addition, there is a wealth of research institutes, such as the Max Planck Institute and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft for Applied Research and Industrialization, and there are also many collaborations with universities. RIVANES will play a role in linking Japan's research-stage deep tech with Germany's advanced manufacturing and demonstration infrastructure to accelerate the transition to practical application and mass production.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
