Meet innovative research seeds from Southeast Asia! New Technology Briefing South East Asia" will be held online.

(Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and COO: Shuichiro Takahashi) will hold its first "New Technology Briefing South East Asia," an online event where you can directly interact with cutting-edge researchers from Southeast Asia, in April 2025.

Breaking through stagnation, new questions from Southeast Asia

Many corporate research institutes have reported that they are struggling to create "new questions" that will drive the next generation of business. It is not easy to find truly innovative themes in the mature markets of Japan.

Therefore, RIVERNESS focused on Southeast Asia, a region that has grown on a different time axis from Japan and has rich cultural and natural resources. the six ASEAN countries together have a population of over 700 million, and the average age of the population is young. along with economic growth, investment in academia and startups is active in this region. There are many social challenges, and a great deal of unique research is being conducted to solve them.

At the "New Technology Briefing South East Asia," three researchers will be invited to each session to introduce their research and development technologies that are designed to solve local problems. This is an excellent opportunity for companies considering expansion into Southeast Asia, as well as for those who are struggling to create new themes at their research centers, to encounter "new questions.
